Good Morning all! My name is Amber, and I am 28 years young. I am the proudest Mommy to my 10 and a half MONTH old son Samuel. I found out yesterday that we are expecting baby #2 in early 2010! Though we were sorta "trying", I really didn't expect to get preggers the first month...we are so blessed. I took the home test more or less just thinking it would be negative, and I could keep on 'dieting' to lose some more weight before getting preg. However - low and behold...I am PREGNANT! My son and I did a very happy dance! So I spent yesterday keeping my son busy while I made a little onsie for him to wear to tell daddy the good news. I popped ds into the onsie after dinner, under a sweatshirt, and sent him off to play with daddy. My plan was that my husband would see the "big brother" onsie when he got our son ready for bath, HOWEVER... as fate would have it, by bedtime my son had a fever of 103, and was beging to croup (again)...so we skipped bath and my husband snuck off to get ds into PJ's while I was busy! I had to go in and interupt the PJ routin just to make sure my husband saw the shirt!! LOL....... Another day in our silly home.... I guess its about to get a whole lot crazier!
First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer
