Just a few things to help the boards run smoother and offer privacy to our members.

#1 When you register an account with BOL, you must make a intro post within 48 hours of registering or your account will be deleted.

#2 If a BOL members Message Board account remains inactive for two months it is subject to termination. Less than 5 posts usually will get deleted within a month.
All it takes is one post in two months to remain an active member and a total of 20 message board posts.

If you have access to the private forums and you have not posted anywhere on the boards within a month your access will be taken away until you request access again and start posting regularly. This was a decision made by the members.


#3 Angel Haven, Mailbox, and Mind Body and Soul~ Still have to have a 100 post minimum to get into those forums. ***Note, if your 100 posts are accumulated in the testing forum or commercial forums, your request may be denied. The reason behind the 100 post count is so that members can get to know you before being let into the private forum. It's hard to get to know someone who is just selling or promoting something or testing their signature. Also if your posts are nonsense post you can also be denied. It's best to take a little bit of time and let the members get to know you, if you join in one day and then expect to be in the private areas you got to understand that members will be leary of you**

#4 Girl Talk Forum ~ Still are required to have 100 posts to gain access, but by choice of the members if you do not remain an active member in that forum your privileges can be suspended.
You only need one post a month to keep your privileges active

In the event that your privileges are suspended please contact me to gain access again. This is not a punishment...people get very busy in their lives and don't always have time to be here, but if you are too busy to post then you wouldn't have time to read...but you can get back in when you decide to become active again

#5 Signatures~ Signatures need to be keep pretty close to the required guidelines. Mods and Admins can ask you to edit your signature to meet those guidelines. Mostly like unless it is throwing the message boards off you will be pt'd before it is edited for you. In the event you ignore the request to edit your signature, it will be done for you and/or your signature privileges removed. Also please refrain from putting inappropriate graphics or offensive material in your signatures.

#6 BOL Addicts works the same way that Girl Talk works, but you must have 1500 posts to access

#7 Life Issues, is for more adult topics, not a trashy forum, but just a place where more "touchy" topics are discussed, that way the rest of the board can be kept clean. That requires 1500 posts.

#7 Picture It and Games~members are required to have 500 posts before being allowed access in this forum.

#8 Secret Haven~ Members must have at least 4000 posts to access~and same as GT and BOL Addicts.

#9 Mass unsolicitated private topics to members of the board are prohibited. Private Topics are not a way to spam our members, or slam our members. Private Topics will not be used for harrassment, members will have either their Board or private topic privilges revoked.

#10 We all have the right to our opinions and that is fine, but personal attacks of someone's opinion is not welcomed. If you and another member are having a problem that can't be worked out, click on their name and click the little ignore posts by this member button, don't you wish they made one of those in real life!

#11 Moderators, We do not take requests for people to become mods, at certain points we do ask members to become a mod. Though being a mod is not just a fun title, it requires hours of work and interaction with the members, and also alot of stress and complicated issues.

#12 Once a topic is closed, it is to remain closed. Starting new topics about the same thing to continue a debate or argument will result in the topics being closed and the member receiving a warning.

**Demerits**
After 5 Demerits you will be banned from the posting forums.

Demerits will be given for

#1 Personally attacking another member
#2 Restarting a thread or encouraging continued arguing in another thread once it's been closed


Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the admins.
