I havent had the heel pain but I get horrid pain in the arch of me feet and I am fairly certain its from wearing flip flops too much. There is NO support to them and my feet are flattening out and I did try to avoid flip flops whenever I could this summer but I still really like them lol.

wearing flip flops all year round we're kinda used to them and it doesn't bother us. but true they don't give your feet any support. if you want to wear flip flops get either dr scholls ones or croc ones. stretching, massage, ice/heat, and antiinflammatory will work too.

Birkenstocks are really good, they are good for your back too.
I was having a lot of pain and started wearing my really good running shoes that have a lot of support and cushion (they are the adidas with the bouncy things under them) and it went away within few weeks max but usually within the week it's gone. I get pain when I walk around barefoot too much too (pounding heels on ground or walking flat footed...for some reason I walk harder in flip flops and barefooted) |

mine did too. when I went to take them back they said that was normal that your feet aren't used to the support. as long as they are the correct size it will take you up to a few weeks for them not to make your arches and maybe even calfs sore. start wearing them slowly...I have to get reused to mine every summer...but once I do they are AWESOME!!! |

your tennis shoes (or shoes you wear most often/your day to day shoes) should be replaced every 6mo max and not a bad idea to replace the insole before that if you notice it starting to loose cushion and/or arch support that it once had |

I didn't wear them more than an hr or 2 to begin with (took them off before they hurt), then would take them off when they started to hurt....just kept at it until it stopped. I think doing it that way a few weeks. Just wearing them everyday and dealing w/ hurtin a lil maybe a week or so.
