Yeah, I think they are working on crash tests now, so it (possibly) will be available here. It looks like an interesting concept, but is it really as safe as other seats?

lol I thought it was a fake site! I'm not sure I'd feel safe having my kids in that but if it passes crash tests as well as others, I'd be for it. I wonder how much that would cost!

I asked on the other board and they say its been around awhile but no one knows much.

We had a 1996 plymouth voyager mini van when my 2 middle kids were babies and we bought the car seats that were built in the seats.Very similiar to the ones you posted,It was extremely convenient but not sure if they are still safe or if that is an option any longer here in the states.

Yes you can still get the built ins . But they dont start till 22 lbs i believe and sit so straight up . Most kids complain they hurt or their legs hurt form the postion.

Ok they are saying taht it shoudl be in he uk in sept and teh us dec. Thast if it passes testing. That seems to be the issue. Everything is about a single seat not something for more than 1 child.
