It will be Ella's first day going to preschool without her cousin there. My sil called to tell me she is keeping him home from preschool tomorrow because her older son is sick with the H1N1 flu and the preschool has asked that if any member of your family is sick with it or even showing signs of being sick with it to keep EVERYONE home so she is keeping him home. Ella and Carson only play with each other, they sit together at lunch time and do their centers together. I dont know what she will think if I drop her off without him. She will probably throw a holy fit. My older kids are off school for fall break this week and if I didnt have a dentist appt for Alisyn and Erynn I would probably have Alisyn stay there to help with the class because I had told the teacher that she would love to help if she is out of school sometime when Ella had school and the teacher said that would be wonderful. On the other hand I really think this will be good for her, she needs to make new friends there.

Awww poor thing! I agree though i think it'll be good for her and she'll adjust and have a great time!!

It will be good for her but you're right that it will probaby take some adjusting. Hope she adjusts quickly.

I havent told her he isnt going tomorrow and I wont say anything unless she asks me. And even then if she asks if carson is coming I will probably say I dont know lol. I really would prefer her to play with other kids anyway, carson is kinda bad lol, she is picking up on enough bad things as it is so it would be nice for her to maybe latch onto a good kid at school. I might go pick a new friend out for her. She has talked about a girl named Hannah, when I worked at the school I met hannah and she is a sweetheart, very quiet and polite. She is in the older class but the two classes join together for a lot of their activities.

She did fine this morning. She did kinda whine when I got her up saying she didnt want to go to school but I think that was the NONmorning person coming out in her. lol I never told her Carson wasnt coming, we just walked her in got her sticker on her attendance chart and I told the teacher quietly that Carson wasnt coming and she had one of the volunteers for the day take her on into the room to get started on stations and she did fine. I was even trying to get her attention to tell her I loved her because I didnt get to before they took her away and she never even looked back lol.

Glad she did not give you a hard time..Maybe this will give her a chance to buddy up with another kid now.

Glad she did well without Carson there! Maybe that will help her be less reliant on him. It's great though she has a cousin the same age that she can be close to. My girls cousins are all older and are all my brothers kids. Doubtful they will ever have any other cousins unless they decide to have more.

Her teacher said she did fantastic. I peeked in when I picked her up and she was at a table with 3 other girls and a little boy. I told the teacher I was wondering how she would do without carson there and the teacher said she did just fine. She made some new little friends and did perfect! Whew, lol
