Does anyone get involved in these? Our theme this year is something about bugs, I think it's a national theme. Our library is having shows every week, crafts and story times. There's also a bug-themed movie every week. We will hit some of it, but I didn't register for everything.

Our library does a really good program. Unfortunately, it's always on the day of the week where we have other things going on. Like you, we'll be able to get to some of it, but not all.

I really wanted to do it this year but we won't get to it with the move. We didn't do it last year because for some reason they moved our day to Sat. That is our family day and there is always something going on. But now it is back to Weds.

You know we have always tried to do it but I never even got anything from school saying when it was or anything. We have a reading camp where the kids sign up and they go once a week for an hour or two and they get a free book every week. Our library's program is they get so many books they have to read depending on their age and if they complete that each week they go in a pick out a prize. In the past we have always gotten really cool things like coupons for kids meals to different places in town or a free ice cream stuff like that. The kids have enjoyed it and it gives them a cool reward for reaching their goal each week.

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!

The girls are doing it. They've signed up for the reading program, after they read so many books they get a prize, then at the end they have a little celebration where everyone gets a certificate.
They have story time 2 days a week(by age group) then Fridays is all ages and they have special programs. We just got back from ours.
Todays was a canine show, they had dogs that performed to music. The other one we went to was a mini concert, Kindermusic, our last one will be a magic show.
We've missed several of them due to being on vacation & vbs.
