We homeschool over the summer to keep her from losing everything she has learned. Well we are using a workbook and am on "subjects and predicates". Apparently she is tired of them because I told her I think we have one more worksheet on them. Her reaction? "Mom, I hate you. You suck" Then she covered her mouth and giggled.
Now normally this wouldn't be a thing to say to mom, but the way it just came out, I had to laugh!

That's cute...I could kind of hear the way she said it by the giggle part....not like she really meant it....but like when my friend tells me something I don't want to hear...I will tell her I hate you! But of course I mean it in a loving way! lol

I wasn't sure how it would come across while typing it out. It was one of those things that you had to be there for to get the full effect. She's never told me I s ucked before, LOL!
