Although I don't mind Kristen Stewart as Bella and I do think she has great chemistry with RP. I watched this movie last night ( Dh works nights now, so it's chick flick time) and the lead (Emma Roberts) would have made such a great Bella!! She looks so much like the Bella I had in my head and she even looks like she could be clumsy by nature lol She's Julia Roberts niece but I don't think she looks much like here.
(I didn't make the pic collage, it was on photobucket )
What do you think? If you haven't seen it the movie Wild Child is pretty cute. Classic teenage chick flick but apparently I haven't grown out of those yet.
I agree, when I seen that movie all I could think was "wow bella doesn't look like that in my head" Emma Roberts is clearly the better choice. She looks more like how I imagined bella to be.

Eh I'm not sold on it...she looks a little too innocent to me!
First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

She does look much more innocent in the photos than she comes across in the movie. I am not knocking KS, I think she did a great job. Before I saw the movie though, I pictured someone slightly more feminine that wasn't as edgy and Emma Roberts looks more the way I had imagined Bella before I actually saw the movie if that makes any sense.
No I know what you are saying...I think I have a had time seeing anyone else as the character because I saw the previews of the movie before I EVER knew about the books...so that's how they always looked to me! lol

I think Emma would have been a better choice as well!! The Bella they chose is too Neve Campbell in her acting for my taste. I didnt notice it the first time I watched Twilight, but I did after watching it a few more times. Emma would have been way more beautiful like described in the book.

That's a good description. She's like the female Keanu Reeves. LOL

its strange how we picture the characters in our heads. I totally pictured Alice to be a blonde pixie and rose to be brunette and it was reversed in the movie. I think Kristin Stewart and Robert were fine

I thought Alice was perfect in the movie, but they could have done better with Rose. In the book they describe her as breathtaking and gorgeous- I didnt think she was at all. Come on there are actresses out there that are amazingly beautiful. They could have done better with Esme too- as far as giving her more of a role.

I agree Shannon, I thought the Rose in the book was suppose to more naturally beautiful....not made up like we saw...I mean the actress herself I think is prettier when not in character...maybe she should have just dyed her hair blonde and left it at that! lol

I thought Alice was perfect also, just what I pictured. Rose could have been way better. I always pictured her as completely flawless and I thought you could definitely tell the actress wasn't a natural blonde.
