I just finished Marked, the first book in the House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast.
Marked Review I had a hard time getting into the book, the first half was pretty slow. I think that's because you need to get to know each of the characters a bit before they can actually get into the thick of the story. Overall I liked the book, but I can't necessarily say I LOVED it. I am about to start Betrayed, the 2nd book. Based on reviews/backs of the books, the books keep getting better and better as Zoey, the lead characted, spends more time at the House of Night. I'll post what I thought of Betrayed in a few days.
(p.s.---> I love that she named the cat Nala from the Lion King, very cute!)

If you think the next one is better I think I might read them.....
First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

Betrayed is soooooooooo much better than Marked, I REALLY liked and enjoyed this book. It has a few sad parts, but definitly captured my attention. This book actually had a plot and a point, and the ending TOTALLY leaves you hanging. I am about to head out to Border's to buy the next book, Chosen. I must be nuts, it's 9.20pm!!!

I just finished Chosen, and I am glad I followed other people's advice and kept reading the series. The books keep getting better, and the plot keeps getting thicker. While I still don't love the series persay, I really really like it and am glad I gave it a second chance. I am going to start Untamed tomorrow night after the kids are in bed, I want to finish the Dark Hunter book I started a few days ago but put on the back burner.

I just started this series and I am not loving it. It's a little too high school for me compared to Twilight and Vampire Diaries. Hopefully it's just the first few chapters and one the actions starts I'll get into it.
OMG I have read 4 of the 5 books in the last week and I LOVE them! My mom got them and she got me hooked...nice thing is she bought them, so I didn't have to buy them myself lol! But seriously, cliff hangers. I pick the 5th one up from her today and boy I can't wait!
