Today one of my students brought Twilight to school. I borrowed it when they went outside. I am already 30 pages in and love it. I will be going to the bookstore after school for my own copy. LOL.

I agree That's what I was going to say. I was SO not interested in the series and then Wendi gave me Twilight for Christmas - I have now read them all and want MORE!!

First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

lol yeah see I couldnt see myself liking the book simply because of being about vampires but its sooooo not about vampires to me, its about a love like no other! Romeo and Juliet aint got nothing on Edward and Bella!! Oh and Welcome to the darkside. Can I JUST say I almost bought myself a set of twilight keychains I saw at walmart tonight lmao.

I bought my copy at Hastings this evening. The girl that checked me out just laughed. She warned me that it is addictive (like I didn't already know for all you) and to go ahead and buy the second book. She said she has the movie and has watched it 37 times already. Good grief. I will not watch the movie until I finish the book.

I am hopeless now. Yesterday I went and bought New Moon when I still had the last chapter and the epilogue left. LOL. Of course I finished Twilight last night. Mmmmmm.

Reading it just makes me feel good. Reminds me how it was when dh and I first met. I loved all of their questions to each other to get to know one another. We did the same thing. I remember sitting up all night long one time just to watch my dh sleep, memorizing how he looked, sounded and smelled. If anyone knows how much I love to sleep that was so not like me but this was the only night we had together after Basic training before he left for AIT. He was exhausted! This book just reminded me how much I really love my husband. Makes me want to touch him. I find my self holding his hand more, touching his face more and having to have something touching him with we sleep. Who knew a book could make you feel all of this again?

I'm right there with you! It made me think of those "puppy love" times with my DH and how you felt just being around him! I'm glad I'm not the only one!
