OMG that's horrible!! But of course they found him inside gambling. I hope he gets punished and slapped with as much as they can give him. Poor little boy - he must've been freezing!

And I agree - some people should not be allowed to have kids. There should be some sort of test you have to take before you have kids. You have to get a license to get married for gosh sakes!

I don't get why the casino would first try to find the owner of the car...that's just BS...so they can get the kid and go home? Heck no...they should immediately be calling the police!

There was an article in the paper about this this morning again, I guess the max sentence is 5 years for abandonment. Personally I would almost call it child ABUSE over abandonment, the kid sat in a cold car strapped into a car seat for 6 hours... Did he have any food? Water? Diaper change? It said that he vomited on himself... How long was he sitting in that for?

There was no mention of the mother in anything but apparently the authorities are talking to extended family and deciding if the boy should go into foster care or go to live with the extended family...
