Woman finds check

...and returns it!! Makes me feel a little better about our fellow man.

How hard it would have been to return that check! Signed and ALL. I am glad she did though, but what I'm thinking is why is someone walking around with a $360k check anyway?!

I would guess that was probably a check to pay for a house or the profits from the sale of a house. I would have returned it as well. Dh lost his wallet in Albuquerque in Feb. Someone found it and called us to go pick it up. But he wanted to "Try" out one of our credit cards first - just to try. At least it was only $30 of gas.

How would she have been able to cash it anyway? Then there would be a chance of getting caught.

I read that, i'm glad she was honest about it, i would have had to return it too but wow

WOW thats alot of money to be walking around with even for a check. I would of handed it in also!
