I think this woman took it way past overboard but i think it's stupid they wouldn't give her a refund since she paid for that item lol

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald's employees told her they were out of Chicken McNuggets. According to a police report, 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out.
She says employees refused to give her a refund, saying all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate.
Police say Goodman was cited on a misuse of 911 charge. A current phone listing for Goodman couldn't be found.
A McDonald's spokeswoman said the company didn't immediately have a comment on the incident.

Are you kidding me! I'm so glad they cited her....but in the same breath... those people are McDonald are ignorant......I understand no refunds....but that's theft by taking her money and not providing the service she paid for.... I would so take that up with their owner of that franchise and their corporate office.

mcdonalds was in the wrong - if you don't have an item refund her! but she does not need to call 911 and waste their time with that nonsense

OMG what a nut job for calling 911 but McDonald's was sooo wrong for not giving the money back. I had to do that on occassion and it's called a VOID!! MORONS.

OMG that is messed up. First of all McDonalds should have given her money back no ifs and or buts. Second, why do you call 911 over that?? I would ask for the store managers number but not call 911. Thats for life and death situations not a couple bucks.

I can understand she was upset, but come ON! Don't call 911. I think that McDonald's should've made an exception this time - especially since she was making such a big stink about it.

She was dealing with the manager believe it or not. McDonald's corporate has released a statement saying the mgr should have refunded her money and they are sending her a refund and coupon for a free meal.
