Feel like you're ready to pop? I did, and the baby felt the same. She came a month early, on April 6 and was 6.5 lbs. She was due last Friday, May 7.

I hope you all are feeling OK.

I am sorta ready to go lol. I am so uncomfy and sore but I have nothing ready to go at home oops Well that isnt totally true, I have an outfit washed and an idea as to were the carseat is but that is it. I am horrible, but with working 48+ hours a week, I just dont have the time. Thankfully I have 9 more days of work left, then 2 weeks holidays then maternity leave. I go back to the Dr's on Wednesday, to see if anything has changed. I am also going to talk to him about giving me a different drug for Step B, I am allergic to 2 of the ones they give and well that one they gave me with Payton made me super ill Lost It

We weren't really ready until this weekend. We got everything out and washed and ready to go including the carseat and cradle AND my bag packed. Now all I can do is wait and *hope* he doesn't decide to be late like his big brother!

I'd love to get out of here - it would definitely take my mind off waiting. LOL Though I don't know that DH would like it much.

Nate was 8 days late - not all that late, but late enough for sure!!

I cant imagine being 8 days late, I was so uncomfortable when I made it to 38 weeks with Payton.
Are you planning on having an epi or going natural? I am going to try and go natural again, but if the Dr feels I may have to have a section then I am going to think about getting the epi.
I was so ill last night, I feel like crud this morning. I finally go to bed at 4:30 only to have to get up at 6, and here I sit at work not wanting to do a thing!

I'm sorry you're not feeling well - I know that feeling all too well recently. I hope you're feeling better soon!

I had an epi with my first but that was after 12 hours of labor (total labor time was 17.5 hours). I'm hoping it'll go by faster this time. I'm open to an epi this time, but it all depends on how labor progresses. I did it last time more to get some rest than anything else.

Hi Ladies,

I'm not too uncomfortable yet...but trying to sleep is a different story! I'm in the middle of week 35 and am starting to get things ready. My question is this: do you really have to wash baby clothes, bedding, etc. in sensitive detergent? Does it really matter??

I know I was really fanatical about that the first time around, but not so much this time. I think things really should be washed beforehand, but maybe not necessarily in "sensitive" detergent. I think it's a personal choice rather than a HAVE TO.

Regarding the detergent I did with Payton only because both DH and I have really sensitive skin and are allergic to alot of soaps. I will do the same with this baby then do a test piece of clothing and see if s/he has an reaction. I agree that everything should be washed ahead of time, but as for detergent it is your choice what to use.

Thanks, girls! I can't believe we are so close to having our babies. It's such a cliche but it seems like just yesterday we were in the first trimester and being in week 30-something seemed so far off.

Have your babies dropped? I think mine did this morning because all of a sudden, I have some serious pelvic pain and a ton of pressure on my bladder.

Hey girls...I think I will be the last of us to deliver since I am still in week 34 however delivering a week early.

I am sooo uncomfortable because I cant breathe all the time from the pressure on my organs. Sleeping is getting more and more uncomfortable.

I washed a ton of clothes this past week but havent folded or put any of it away yet...lol
No bag packed or anything else yet. I am total procrastinator. I know where the car seat and pack N Play is...lol.

I wash all the babies clothes with Dreft because of all the bad chemicals in the other stuff, I dont want to take any chances.

Well I had my 36 week appointment today and it was quite a bummer!

Baby was head down and such, but after feeling around for quite some time the Dr feels that that baby moved yet again. I told him I felt alot of pain last night and was in agony. He believes the baby is now tranverse, shoulder down instead of head. So now they are trying to get me in for an u/s to check everything. Also I had alot of sugars in my urnine and he has come to conclude that even with the glucouse test I have g/diabetes. So now they are trying to get me into to see a specialist to figure things out. I guess the only good thing is with another u/s, I get to see the baby and find out what it is.

Gosh Lisa you are not have a good pregnancy are you??? Hugs

I am surprised they are saying you have G-diabetes because I have sugar in my urine all the time...almost every visit infact and she wasnt concerned.

Good news is you get another U/S...wahhhoooo!!

So you are going to find out the sex?????????

After my pregnancy with Payton I thought I could handle anything with this one, and ugh I am so over it!

It is weird how some Dr's are different than others. He said the levels were quite high and a cause for concern, I did read that it is normal for some sugars to be in urine so I am not to sure. I am going to watch what I eat and such, but given by the time I get into the specialist the baby will be here lol.

We are hoping to find out the sex, I am hoping that with them putting it as an urgent u/s I will get it before the baby comes.

I just feel so emotionally drained from yesterday, just when I thought everything was going good, it does a 180. Oh well as long as the baby gets here safely that is all that matters. It's a Girl It's a Boy
