Well I broke down and spent the money on the OPK. It is called answers and their are 20 test strips. I have never used one of these before even though I am sure that I ovulate, thought I would try anything at this point.Has anyone used these before?

I used them for the first time on my last cycle. I found them semi-helpful. From what I was told, they're not like a pregnancy test where "a line is a line". The test line should be as dark or darker than the control to be considered a positive. I never got one that was as dark, although they did get progressively darker. Hope they help you!!

yep, the line needs to be dark to be considered positive.
My suggestion is to start around day 7 to 10 just depending on when you think your normally ovulate. Start at least 4 or 5 days prior to that. That way you don't waste strips early on. Also, I was told to use them morning and night, that way it catches it earlier. It's been awhile since I used them, but I think they said to use them just in the morning on the box. I caught my change in the evening, so I'm glad I followed that tip. I got preggo the second month I used them. |
