Do you have PCOS??? It makes you gain weight and can make it difficult to get pregnant. However woman who are heavier in the middle and lose weight have a greater chance of conceiving.

I tried losing before I got pregnant with this one. I just tried to eat healthier....more fruits and veggies. Oatmeal, yougurt..etc etc. Stay away from the fatty fried food stuff.

I did lose weight before I got pregnant the first time. Wendi actually cursed me: she said as soon as I got down to my goal weight, I'd get pregnant. Then BOOM! LOL I say cursed, but you know what I mean. If it doesn't make it easier to conceive, it definitely makes it easier to lose what you gained during the pregnancy!

I wish I had. I weighed in the 190s before I got pregnant with each of mine. I was very careful not to let myself go crazy while pregnant and put on too much. I gained 18 lbs with each of my pregnancy. After the first I lost more than I had gained within 3 weeks. This time its not dropping as fast. GL to you!

If you are wanting to lose weight, it would not hurt to drop some if you have some to lose, i hear it does help, and not to mention, it makes you healthier too, and will help you get the weight off after. The easiest way is to start to eat clean, no processed food, no sugar, junk. Just fresh, clean, lean food. I reccomend the "eat clean diet" book by tosca reno, she has great menu ideas for families and kids too. I lost 20 pounds within a month or so after eating that way and working out a bit smarter. I am now trying it again cause I too am TTC.
