I am on cycle one of the clomid & I have been having TERRIBLE ( almost to th point of crying) ovulation pain for about 4 days. I started the clomid on July 20 & took it for the 5 days, I had a positive ovulation test today! My questions are, Isnt it kinda to early to be ovulating already & also how many of you ovulated on the first month of using the clomid? I hadnt ovulated for 2 years before staing it so this is all new to me.
I was on quite a few clomid cycles and did experience some pain!!! Now my Dr would put me on days 5-9 however I changed my days up (without telling her) and I ended up FINALLY getting pregnant on days 1-5. Not sure what you are doing but that is my experience. Good Luck and the side effects can be not so fun!! Oh and it is possible to ovualte a little early..eveyone is different.

Kim my Dr wanted me to take it days 5-9 which I thought was kinda pointless since I only have a 2 day cycle so i took it day 3-7, if it doesnt work this month I might go day 1-5 since my period is almost non excistent after the first day.

Good idea. I did a TON of research on clomid days and what I learned is the earlier you take it 1-5 the more eggs you have and the later you take it you have less eggs but better quality I guess. Now I did days 5-9 for a while and then I did 2-6 once because that was recommended but found that 1-5 worked as it did for many others I read about. GOOD LUCK!!
