Ok, so I am going off the Mirena. I have an appt on Tues morning to take it out. My question is, how long did it take you to regulate and conceive after going off of Mirena? When you go off of it, do you get a period right away (I haven't had one since they put it in, and I am FREAKING out cuz I had Depo which messed me WAY up).

I am not sure with the mirena but I had the paraguard and got preggo my first full cycle after getting it out. I went straight into being regular right away with it and I was told that it would be the same with the mirena though I dont plan on testing that one out lmao. Good luck and I hope it doesnt take long(but still needs to not happen until after your hear so we can party lol) and Mary......... Giggle I have a feeling Monica and Eric's stay at your house might be one for the baby books LMAO

From what I've read about Mirena (I was seriously thinking about using it but Jesse was too freaked out by the idea.. lmao) once you take it out, your cycles regulate quickly and it's not hard to get pregnant again.

i havent tried getting pregnant but when i had mine removed my cycles started right back up like normal. I had very mild cramping when she first pulled it out, literally i thought it felt like a cork coming other than that i have had no problems or anything

thanks ladies. I had just been reading up on it, and some said it was terrible hard to get preggo after it, just like the depo was. I HOPE it is not like that!!!!

Then, to make things even WEIRDER, it is falling out! LMAO So I had to call today to see what to do. They just said let it fall, baby. LOL So I will see what happens over the weekend.

I would chart your cycle to see if your progesterone is low. I miscarried due to the Mirena messing up my progesterone. Or see if the dr will check your levels. After the m/c it took 4 cycles to get pg because I couldn't pin point when I ovulated due to my progesterone issues. I would start spotting early around 9-10 DPO and then get AF around 14-15 DPO. The spotting clued me in to my progesterone being low.

I hope you don't have the withdraw symptoms that I had after I had mine removed. It was awful!
