I had a huge meltdown last night. I don't know what the deal was, but I completely lost it, crying etc. My poor DH felt terrible because he knows how badly I want to be a mom. I try to not lose it in front of him like that because he thinks it's his fault. Anyways, I guess I'm just really nervous, scared, excited, all at the same time. I think seeing our families and friends yesterday with all of their kids just really got to me. It was strange because it's been a long time since I've been so upset. I know our day is coming we just have to be patient. I guess the good news is we have our first adoption agency meeting on Friday to see if we feel comfortable with them. In the meantime it's saving up more money to fund all of this stuff! Thanks for reading, guess I just needed to vent!

awww I hate to see someone as deserving at you have to wait so long for this! I am praying for you guys, you really do deserve a baby and in God's timing it will happen! Hang in there and remember you can come and let your feeling out here anytime you need to! Thats what we are here for!!

on the adoption. I know it must be hard where you live. Here its sometimes so easy for people to get kids. My mom works at a child care place and is always stumbling on kids that need a home.

Dont feel bad about your emotions if people get upset that you are upset they cant judge unless they have been there. I will pray that your meeting goes well and that you find a beautiful baby to love. My cousin was told she would never physically carry a child. So about 4 months after her adoption poof there she was with her own. Now she has two of her very own.

Im sure you will make some little kid feel loved and safe soon.

You have been trying for and waiting for your baby for a long time now, and I think it is not only ok, but normal to break down here and there. I can relate to how you feel seeing all your family and friends with little ones, and you are just as deserving. It's going to happen for you, I just know it!!

I am so sorry Trisha! I know what you are going through and I know that you are going to be a mom very very soon! I also know that God has an incredible plan and that He is faithful to give you all the grace you need.

Oh Trisha I get so sad for you when you have rough days like that. And I know there is nothing that anyone can say or do to make it go away because the the ache from empty arms is just so much! Big Hugs to you!! I have been so excited watching your adoption ticker count down. I really hope that they are able to give you some wonderful news on Friday.

Sorry you had the meltdown. But your child is coming... I say my daily prayers for your child... But so glad the 1st adoption meeting is Friday... woohoo. It will go fine. You and your DH is on your way to parenthood.

Thanks for the support guys; y'all are awesome! Much better the past few days it was really just that one evening of a pity party! Anyways, tomorrow's the first big day for us!
