So today is ovulation day and then the start of another agonising 2 week wait...

I have my annual gynae appoinment coming up next week Tuesday, so my question is this. If we were to be succesful in conceiving today, is there some way the doc could tell by Tuesday or some test he could do to verify? According to WebMD a pregnancy will only show up in bloodtests by the Saturday after the appointment.

Just thinking maybe this time I wont have to wait the whole 2 weeks?

I don't know for sure if there is any way they could tell. I'm thinking not, but maybe someone else has a better answer for you! I know that at some point the cervix will start to be a blueish/purple color in early pregnancy due to the extra blood flow but I think that is sometime later. I believe it is called Chadwick's sign if you want more info on it. (The little bit I remember from OB in nursing!)

Good luck to you. I know the two weeks is agonizing-I've been there. I'll be thinking of you and sending lots of baby dust your way!!

Even if they could tell, I don't know a dr that would test that early. Mostly for a financial reason.
