Proud Mommy to Isabella and Hailey I Have Too Much Spare Time ![]() |
how is the Louisville Science Center? Is it good for younger kids? We are going to meet some friends from Lexington in Louisville Saturday and are looking for something to do. My kids, well you know, they are just about 3 and 18 mths and my friends son is 2 1/2. We were thinking the zoo if its nice, is it open this time of year? Do you have any suggestions???

Let me ask someone about the science center....my kids loved it....but they are 8 and 10 they went on a field trip a few weeks back but I didn't get to go to that one....
The zoo is open....and I love our zoo....it's not too big, but not too small.....I think they close at 5 right now....but you can go to louisvillezoo.com and check it out....admission is a little steep...honestly for our family I always get the pass if I think I'll go more than 2 times a year, which normally in Spring, SUmmer and Fall we are there a lot and they even have a little splash park...so we spend a lot of time there...I think I get a pass for $50 which is good for the whole year....and since an adult admission is $12 and kids are $8 it really pays for itself....though you are not as close...BUT you could always meet up with me at the zoo too! First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer |
