How's your child doing this year? Have you had a report card or conference yet?
Jacob is just loving preschool. They've been on a few field trips and participated in lots of special events and activities. He's made 2 new friends and they seem to really like each other. We don't have report cards or conferences at this level, but I think he's doing fine.  |

Well we just had Parent Teacher Conferences for my Lil ones and
 They are Both doing Great...........The Only Issues that Nick is having is his Teacher said he is "ALL BOY" she said he's having a bit of trouble getting used to all the Rules that Kindergarten has........(ie) when it's "Work Time" and when it's "Play Time" because in Pre-K thats what they did for the majority of the time I guess was Play......I mean don't get me Wrong they did do work in Pre-K.......just not as much as they are doing in Kindergarten...........Other then that he is Doing Great and His Teacher says he is Very Smart and is A Pleasure to have in Class.........And as for Myranda She is Doing Absolutely Awesome this yr.........She is getting all A's & B's so far.......I got her Progress report in the Mail Last Week........So Right Now I am a Very Very Happy Momma :-)    When I first saw you, I was afraid to talk to you. Ariel is doing amazing in first grade! She has gotten the highest score in everything for her grade level on both report cards. She's very academic.. the teacher sends home homework for the week in her folder on Mondays and she likes to do the whole week's worth that night so she has the rest of the week off. lol. I'm very proud of her because she really tries hard and is doing great.

Matt and Hannah are doing well in school. Report cards looked good and the last progress reports looked ok.

Erynn is doing great in school. She got A's and one B+ on her report card. The teacher said that she was very confident that if Erynn just slowed down on her math she would get that b+ up to an A with no problems. She got the principals award for the first grading period which was pretty exciting! She said she is mature and helpful.

Avery is Loving kindergarten,had her fall festival today, her field trip got cancelled yesterday, due to all the rain.
She has made lots of new friends, loves her teacher AND doing homwork. She gets her very first report card Monday. Aly's doing good, had a little trouble with her grades on her progress report earlier,but got her report card yesterday, had 1 high B(86) the rest were A's.  |

So far so good...Aaron and Chas have made straight A's!!!
    First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. annette is below level on areas but she is trying really hard with her learning disabilities and her speech issues but she is on ILP and IEP as well. The week I was gone she had her testing but did not have medication on so I am sure that affected it some. I will just continue to work with her so she can progress in the 2nd grade this year.

Got Avery's report card today, she has ALL E's(kindergarten's equivalent of an A), recognizes all the letters except lower case d and q, and didn't know one sight word,'this'.
Oh and they only expect them to have 1 AR point this 9 weeks, she has 6! |

Alex is doing great in his academics and is doing a lot better on his behavior... Name is still on the board for no recess but the teacher said it is up there to remind him.
Oh anyone know of a science project for a 1st grader to do... This will be part of his 4 qtr grade. [IMG][/IMG] |
