Ayden finally doesn't wet his pants today at school so when I go to pick him up I walk in the classroom door and all I see is Ayden coming towards me bouncing up and down while trying to run, grabbing his crotch (like way btwn his legs)...and yelling in this crazy happy voice " mommy mommy I didn't pee my pants! I'm dry! I'm still dry! Check my pants I didn't pee them!". There is a different teacher in there for some reason so she has no idea about the pants wetting thing and she looks at me and says "did he say I did or didn't wet my pants?" trying not to crack up while she is asking because Ayden is still bouncing grabbing his crotch! I'm trying not to die laughing and explain what he has been doing and by this time Ayden has grabbed my hand and is trying to pull it down to his pants saying "mommy feel I didn't pee my pants they are still dry!"
Maybe funnier if you were there....

grrrrrr.....he went right back to wetting his pants! I swear I don't know what to do with that child.

Maybe there is an uderlying condition?? I know I used to babysit a boy that had to have a monitor on his bed when he slept that would sound at the time of wetting. He eventually realized how his body felt and knew when to go.

Also some boys just have a harder time. I would stick to pull ups and then start a sticker chart. Tell him he has to have soo many like 40 stars (one per day) and once he gets that many in a row he can get a new bike or something. They say once you do something 21 days in a row it becomes a habbit.
