Do you remember this spring when we had a little rock that was picked up by the weed eater and shattered the back door. Well I finally finished my project using the broken tempered glass. The pieces broke into little cubes that looked like ice or diamonds. So I took them and made a candle. I used two glass containers and dropped a skinny one inside the larger one and filled the space between with the pieces of glass. The only catch is that since it is so skinny and cannot be tipped I cannont use a real candle. So I am using a battery operated tea light and I have to use tongs to turn them on and off. But the effect is super cool and exactly what I was hoping for.
First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

super cool! what about that clear gel stuff that you melt down to make those gel candles...bet you could pour that down in there to seal it. or even get clear caulk like you would use on the bath tub and run that around the top of it to seal the top of it off to hold everything in there.
