She is 37 week pregnant & had been leaking fluid on & off for the past few weeks, She kept telling the dr's only to have them tell her that it was urine leackage from the baby putting pressure on her her bladder, as this is her first baby she took their word for it. Well fast forward to today & she rings me crying, she finally got a dr to listen to her & he ordered an ultrasound, the baby has no fluid around him/her & the cord is around the neck, not tight but around all the same, the baby is also breach & is tiny, they say that bub is the size of a 34 week old, heres the kicker tho, even with all these problems, they havnt booked her for a c-section until the 21st, which is still another 11 days away. Now my big concern is, what if the baby tries to turn, wouldnt that put more pressure on the cord & make it tighten?? It's all around a bad situation, so please, please keep her in your thoughts!
I will definitely keep her in my prayers. What kind of doctor is she going to?! When I even *thought* I might be leaking fluid, my doctors did a strip test to make sure it wasn't the amniotic fluid. It sounds like she needs to go somewhere else and get a second opinion on things. These people sound like quacks which is super scary when you're dealing with two lives!

I too will keep her in my prayers. Your sister inlaw defently should try getting a second oppinion. Cause no fluid and the cord wraped around the neck is a bad situation. I had the cord around my neck as a baby too. Hopefully your SIL will get some answers.

Thats scary.I know from experience that the cord around the neck can end terribly.I cant believe the didnt set up a csec sooner than than 11 days away.If i were her,id find a new dr for a 2nd opinion.Just because its her 1st doesnt mean there wont be problems..especially with the cord being around the neck & no fluid. And if the lil one is measuring small..isnt that usually because nutrients arent reaching him/her like they should be?My thoughts & prayers will be with her & her lil one.
OMG I can't beleave they are making her wait another 11 days...........Wow can they do that if there is NO amniotic fluid. I would Deffinately be getting a Second Oppinion. She and baby will be in my thoughts and Prayers..........Please Keep us updated.
When I first saw you, I was afraid to talk to you. When I first talked to you, I was afraid to like you. Now that I Love you, I'm afraid to lose you.

Well they said that the baby is measuring small because of having no fluid to feed off, I have tried to tell her to go to another hospital but she is listening to her Dr's cause she thinks they no best, The one good thing is that the baby's heart beat is really strong but I am so worried about it trying to turn around & strangling with the cord.

WOW! BIG PRAYERS...I don`t know how things are by you and of course all the details only my experience with no fluid and low fluid, but I`m surprised they did not send her in immediately,Maybe she is only LOW fluid? Not dangerously low?? I had that with Ethan and before we left the US the Dr. ordered me to LDR within the hour and started a pit drip to induce labor...They even had NICU staff waiting too, because they(babies) can have problems from no fluid! All was ok,but still just to be safe...Is there only 1 doc. on staff in her practice....
