I didn't think I'd be of any help on this until my cold hit unbearable proportions this evening. So, as I'm looking it up for myself so I can get some much needed sleep, here's what I found out: http://www.webmd.com/baby/guid...ine-during-pregnancy This site has a list of many over the counter drugs that are considered safe during pregnancy and uses the common names (which a ton of the other sites I looked at didn't). Hope it helps you and hope my tylenol cold kicks in fast for me too!
I took Robitussin cough and cold when I was about 16-17 weeks along, thats what my doctor gave me and she can also take Tylenol PM to get some sleep if she needs it!

Robitussin cough and cold is what she can take, that my OB prescribes for all her preggos. Also what the above person said she can also take tylenol pm to help get some sleep from all the coughing. Good Luck!
I'm a little late but when your in a bind this seemed good to know when I was preg. My doc said I could take any of the Tylenol products. Check with doc to make sure that is still true and all but it was easy for me to go by.
Thanks For asking Lauren but NO Actually she feels and Sounds Worse then she was yesterday when I bought the Robitussin Cough..........It's not helping and I'm Thinking of Taking her into see the Doc to see what he says.

Wow poor baby, be sure she gets her flu and H1N1 shots it could be the flu. Also watch for a fever you don't want her over 101, push fluids. I think I would go to the doctor probably just incase she does have strep or the flu! Let us know how it goes!

Well Doc Said She's just got a cough It might actually be allergies he said..........He checked her Lungs, Throat, Ears, and everything else...........All came Back fine. He told her to just continue with the Robitussin IF it is helping He said there's really no sence in taking the Robitussin If it is NOT helping. Said it is Affecting the baby and if its NOT a Benifit to Her then Why Take it.........
Ummmmmmm She's actually coughing less today so Yay for that.
Hopefully she will be completely better soon.

Good Question about the alergies and Ummmm I dunno he didn't say anything about any kind of meds for it he just Said that it MAY be alergies and that we will just continue to monitor her for now and as long as nothing gets worse then thats A Good thing. He also said that its better that she is dealing with a little cough instead of Continuosly taking meds that are Affecting the baby but are of no Benifit to her.
So for now we will just wait and see........
I'll keep you guys updated if anything else happens
