Well we have a baby. I went in Wed at 7pm my water broke on its own at 4 am I was ready to push at 2pm. I tried for 3 hrs to push and the baby was just not comming. So the DR decided since my BP was increasing from the stress to help me get him out.
Tyler was born at 5:25pm 7lbs 11 oz and 20 1/2 inches. Head full of black hair and we hope blue eyes.
Well I passed out after he was born when I was woke up they went to give him to me and my MIL took him and said I had him for nine months. Then the nurse took him and they gave me another shot and took me to a recovery room where I was passed out from 6 to 9. When they broght me him I finally got to hold my baby at 10pm. So needless to say I was not a happy camper. What else ticked me off is that my SIL that was not on duty decided she was going to come up and play with him and then they tried to sneek her kids into the room to hold him. So I told the other nurse I did not want the kids anywhere near him. If my own sisters could not come see him then neither were the kids.
Well I had a 3 degree tear and so when I woke up this morning at 6:30 we decided to go get Tyler and come to find out he was in the NICU with an IV on the top of his head. I guess he swallowed a bunch of the fluid and was having a hard time with his sugar levels. Had my MIL not taken from me and let me try to nurse he migh have been ok. So I guess he started to turn white and blue around the mought so they put him in the NICU. He is still not eating and they have suctioned out his belly a few times. I got to cuddle with him real quick and then he started to have problems. So they think they will keep him until tomorrow.
Now to deal with the MIL she didnt even come and see him today she said why bother if she was not able to hold him. A good grandma would be concerned about a nICU baby and try to come and see him. My parents are taking turns being with me because they know I am upset. So then she sent out pictures of him and labled him as Glenn. She said she knows I picked out his name and that was not what her son would have wanted so why call him Tyler. When infact I wanted Logan but my husband wanted Tyler. so we are battling that and she has been nothing but a rude person since. She told his aunt that I am just faking not feeling good and that a 3 degree tear is not that bad.
But I am not going to focus on here here is a few pictures of Tyler for all of you. The thing on his head is his IV that is the only place they could get it to go.
Ok I have a really good one when he was dressed but its not working so this is about the most I have uploaded right now I will post more when my DH gets back and gets me his camera.
awwww he is so cute and look at all that HAIR!! I hope he starts feeling better soon, same with you. I would let the nurses know that your mil isnt allowed to come visit you because right now you really dont need her drama. Focus on getting Lil Tyler better and out of the nicu and resting yourself.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!
he is beautiful! Very Very handsome guy! Sorry about all the drama with you MIL I would keep her out of there too, and focus on the baby and yourself and spending these first precious moments together.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! I am so happy and yet so angry for you because of your MIL, what A ......!!!!
Anyway, I hope he is out of the NICU tomorrow and you can take him home.
I know exactly how you feel as I bled for 3 hours on the table after my c-section because Jayden was so wedged in from pushing, that when they went to get him my uterus tore. Then I had a fever going into my c-section so I could not hold my baby for 24 hours who ended up in the NICU for 5 days.
BIG HUGS!!!!

First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer
