Last night dh and I went to a wedding. Right when we got there my heart started to pound like crazy, I felt dizzy and felt the need to sit down right away. Anyone else feel this. I had this feeling back in July too, but I forgot about it and just thought I needed something to eat. I'm ok now, but I will definitely mention it to my doctor next week. I hope it's nothing serious.

I've had that happen a few times when I haven't eaten anything all day but don't think it ever happened while i was pregnant, i hope your dr. can give you some answers!!!
It happened to me and I talked to my nurse. She said that the baby was pressing on my blood supply and to just give my belly a shove and move the baby. I paniced too and had the school nurse check my blood pressure once I wasn't light headed anymore.
To be honest with you it happens to me like once a month while I am pregnant, it almost feels like you can feel your heart pounding in your throat and very rapidly, well for me anyways and I do just have to sit down and catch my breath, I asked my doc he never made a big deal, but then again he never does.

I felt that a couple of times and I did call and they said it was the baby. they checked my heart and said that sometimes an arethmia ?? Sp can show up in pregnancy but the dr said to lay on my left side and try to get the baby to move and most of the time it went away.
Thanks girls. I must me entering my third tri now because I'm also starting to feel that it's a little harder to breath. Wow! I really don't remember this w/ Ryan at all.

sounds like high blood pressure thats exactly how i would feel when mine would shoot up during pregnancy....so when you feel like that SIT DOWN AND rest....def tell your dr about it too
There is several things this could be but I would call your doctor. My sister in law went through something like this and it was the beginning of her problems. Not to worry you but she lost her baby so I want to just make sure that your aware and get everything cleared!!Hope all is well!!
Yes I do get the heart palpitations too and almost out of breath so I just put feet up whenever and try not to move around. It helps that I drink a lot of fluids too. Hope its nothing serious.
Hang in there, we're almost at the finish line
