A friend of mine who I met through a message board has a 3-year-old daughter with a rare chromosome disorder. She had a bit of a fever on Monday, and was admitted to the hospital Tuesday with a flu. Today she was confirmed with H1N1 and was airlifted to a major hospital on Vancouver Island. She's on ventilators. It's really scary. I really hope she pulls through and makes a full recovery. Thanks ladies!
**Update** Im only posting this here cause we are private here. I have stopped updating my statuses with what is going on.
Gracie isn't doing well. Her right leg lost circulation, and so they pulled out the IV thing from her femoral? artery; leg hasn't improved so she is going for an ultrasound at 2pm. She is going fo...r an ECHO at 3pm to check on her heart. Not breathing well on her own, so they had to put her on the ventolator last night. She had IV ports in her arteries in her legs, but the one had to be moved to her chest.....
They told us this morning that she has a significant chance of passing. Please pray or keep Gracie in your thoughts.
She has a compromised immune system due to her syndrome, and the H1N1 is attacking her badly.

Thank you, ladies. She's currently on a ventilator and she said the dr said last night that this doesn't look good. She's heavily medicated and will sleep most of the time as they try to get her better.

My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family!!!
First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

I just wanted to thank everyone on behalf of Cayleigh, the mommy of little Gracie. Grace was tested last week and came back H1N1 positive still. Gracie passed away yesterday, November 16. Rest in peace, angel Gracie. You were a fighter! Xoxoxo July 4, 2006-November 16, 2009
