For those that do know what's going on, please keep the prayers coming. I was home for her baby shower this weekend and got to visit with her a bit. There is still absolutely nothing new on her husband. He hasn't accessed their savings account and his car has not been spotted. She is putting on a strong exterior, but I can tell it's really getting to her...it would be abnormal if it wasn't. She is flying home today. She has to return to work in order to keep her insurance. Her insurance is not a widespread one and she can only have her baby in DC or California, so staying at home to have the baby is not an option. She is staying with her brother's in laws who live in the DC area as well which is good. I'm glad she doesn't have to go back to her house. She is going to put it on the market and hope he shows up dead or alive before an offer is made so that she can sell it, if he doesn't show up soon though she will have to let it foreclose b/c she cannot afford it alone but can't sell it without his signature. She will be looking for an apartment to stay in until after the baby is born in the meantime. Her family will be getting her a car so she car so she can get around. Her mother works in a school so as soon as school is out, she will head up there to stay with her until the baby is born. After the baby is born she will begin looking for job opportunities in Texas and back home so she can be closer to family.

Please continue to pray for her and for his family! My sadness for her husband and his mental problems has turned into anger for the mess he has left her and their unborn child in.

I've been considering posting the missing person's report on him here, but am unsure if she would want that info here paired with the personal info I've shared. If you live within a few 100 miles of DC and are observant and would like me to send you the info on him, please PM me and I will send you the link.

***UPDATE 4/7/09

I just got a call from a friend. My friends husband is alive and still in the DC area as of last week sometime. He mailed letters to friends and family the end of last week that were received yesterday by friends and family in Texas and Tennessee. As of today, my friend has not received a letter herself. She was also not mentioned in any of the letters others received. The police are encourage her to hold a press conference, but I don't know if she's decided to or not yet.

PLEASE...continue to pray for her. I am sure this is a major setback in a sense for the healing process she had already begun. She really thought he was dead and was coping with that. Now she's thrown back into the uncertainty that she was in at the beginning.

This story is so heartbreaking and I hope one way or another she gets some closure. Lots of prayers coming her way!!!

Holy cow that is crazy, I can't imagine what is going through his head! I hope your friend is doing okay and I will continue to pray for her, i hope she can move on from him!

Hmmm that's really messed up. So what he just up and left her, not contact then all of a sudden he decides to contact friends and family, but not her. What in the world could be going thru his head.

I really don't know what to say about that, its just so wrong, and like Ada said whats going on through that head of his! For pete's sake, grow up or something! I feel so bad for her! Please keep us informed!

OMG that is crazy. I feel so bad for this woman and what she must be going through. I hope she can move on and I hope he gives her some sort of closure soon. I just cant believe a human would leave thier spouse while pregnant. I know it happens all the time but still just awful!!!

I just can't even begin to imagine what she's going through. And I'm sure it's worse now to know he's actually alive and not contacting her since I'm sure she'd come to believe he was dead. Why would he just up and leave her like that? It's so confusing. I hope she gets some answers and hopefully before the baby is born. How sad.

This is just so odd I feel worse for her now that he is not there for her and this poor baby! That Pisses me off for her! If I can say that, SHE and THE BABY are in my prayers for strength through this and he is in my prayers for knowledge and to have the courage to come home and be a man for this baby and this poor woman!

Definitely not right in the head. That's just bizarre. I will pray that she can make it through this, I can't even imagine.

I appreciate the prayers for her. He's definitely sick and needs help. If they find him or if he comes home. they have a long road ahead of them.

When is she due again? Is she keeping contact with his family? Like is mom and dad?

The whole situation is just awful! i hope her family is able to help her thru this awful difficult time. be sure to keep us updated it just breaks my heart for her.

She is due June 20 and she is keeping in touch with his family.
