Kayleigh was born preemie weighing in at only 1 lb. She has been in the hospital her entire life and was one surgery away from going home to be with her family. During that surgery, something happened to where there wasn't enough oxygen supplied to her brain. She now has no brain activity. Her brain stem is working so she makes movements (none purposely), she can breathe, and she feels pain (though they are keeping her comfortable). They want to be able to take her home to be with them in her room when she passes away, but there's a good chance she'll go home to God while she's in the hospital. Anyways can you please keep her and her family in your prayers? She is on my heart and mind daily. I'm still praying for a miracle.. that God heals her brain and she somehow comes through this....

She's just come so far...and it breaks my heart.

I won't read it b/c I'm definitely emotional, but she will be in my prayers.

I might attempt to read it later but right now i dont wanna start crying. I have a long road trip ahead of me today and when I read these things it just fills my mind and its not good. I will pray for her and her family though!

I've been reading about Kayleigh for several months and praying for her as well.

She went home last night and her parents and siblings will continue to need prayers through this rough time. Please continue to pray for them. I cannot even begin to fathom their pain.

I can't stop crying. I just found out about her passing. I've been praying daily that God would perform a miracle and her brain would just start working again and everything would be okay... but it wasn't God's plan. Yes, please do pray for her family and friends and even those who didn't know her personally but grew to love and adore her.

Ironically the family's story will be on today's episode of "The Doctors".

Heartbreaking.

**edit: I thought they were going to be on "The Doctors" today but it's tomorrow. My mom is recording it for me. I don't think I'll be able to watch anytime soon but I had really wanted to see it.

OMG I can not believe she passed away I just watched the videos and feel in love with her I am in tears she is with god now and not suffering anymore, poor baby girl she was a tough baby my prayers are with the family.

Awww, so sad!! I just watched about this precious baby yesterday on DOCTOR's...Bless the family's heart, may she rest comfortable now.
