I haven't tried it yet but am making it with my students next week.

Pumpkin Pie in a bag

2 - 1 gallon ziploc freezer bags
2 2/3 cup cold milk
2 packages (4 serving size) instant vanilla pudding
1 can (15 ounces solid pack pumpkin
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Graham cracker crumbs - 1 box
1 can whipping cream

Combine the milk and instant pudding in the ziplock bag. Remove the air and ziplock shut. Squeeze and kneed with hands until blended fro 1 minute. Add the pumpkin and spice. Remove the air and ziplock shut. Squeeze and kneed with hands until blended for 2 minutes. Place 1 tablespoon of praham crackers in the bottom of cup. Cut corner of gallon freezer bag and squeeze pie filling into cups. Garnish with whipped cream.

oh that sounds like a fun project for the kids. I know my kids would love making that. We might do that next week.

I tried it today and it was really good! Be sure to add enough spices. I didn't measure so I am sure I used more than it called for. I used All Spice instead of pumpkin pie spice. It was so good that my students asked for the directions.

what is the difference in spice that you used...all spice versus pumpkin spice? and are we able to get all that at publix right now?

Heather the spices are very similar. All spice is just ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon (I think) Just makes it taste better. I bought the cheap little red shaker in the spices.

so about how many servings does it make...give or take? cuz if its just going to be me and the kids eating it i might have to cut the ingredients in half.
