FAVORITE OATMEAL COOKIES
1 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 2 eggs Cream first four ingredients Together, Now add: 1 t. baking soda 1 t. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 2 c. flour 3 c. oatmeal (or just a little less) 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips (optional) Mix. Shape into balls on pan, then flatten with hand. Bake at 350 for 10-15 min. **I usually add chocolate chips and have also added raisins. The recipe is delicious without either one too. |

VINEGAR COOKIES
1 tub soft Blue Bonnet butter (1/2 lb.) 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. soda 2 tsp. vinegar 1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients and mix together. Drop on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Can decorate with small candies or nuts. |

Cake Mix cookies
1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix 2 eggs 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Add to Recipe Box DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, eggs and oil until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls. Place the cookies 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. |

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
1 cup white sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 egg 18 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine sugar, peanut butter, and egg. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. NOTE: If dough is too sticky, refrigerate 1/2 hour or until easy to handle. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove cookies from oven. Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie. |
