LMAO I would love to be confined to a bed to read for a month! LMAO I started and finished Family Tree today, I just re-read the last part of New Moon, and I started the first Dark Hunter book.

LMAO! I thought the same thing.... then I checked out www.twilightmoms.com and I was like "wow, I really am not even close to as obsessed as some of these people!" lol So I must be somewhat normal ; )
The Fever series does help a bit BUT I am not a big fantasy/sci fi person and it wasn't as much of a love story which is why I loved Twilight. Did you read the outtake chapters and Midnight Sun? Those helped me a ton!

Oh Chelle I dont know how a person could NOT fall in love with Edward! My friend's mother in law started reading the books and she is totally not into vampires or anything either and she is ADDICTED!! There is something about Edward that appeals to all women, no matter what their age or lifestyle. My sister in law who is a nuclear physicist LOVES Twilight- watched the movie and read all the books. And she has zero personality. So that shows you right there that once you open that first book your hooked. I have yet to hear someone say they didnt like it.

So I finished the Fever books. And I am SO FRUSTRATED I cant even tell you!!! If I was a millionaire I would be bribing the author to send me the next books NOW. OMG how could she just leave us hanging where she left off????!!!! At least give us a little closure to get through the next months. Lost It

So last night DH says 'So what is that book about, it has been stuck in your face all night'. So I gave him the 411 on Mac and Barrens, the Seelie and Unseelie, the book, etc. He was like 'wow, I dont like reading but that would make a bad arse movie!!! You better tell me what happens....and I want to know what Barrens is!' I was like EVERYONE wants to know what he is....step in line buddy.

So now I am torn. Do I keep reading the Dark Hunter ones? Do I finish book 2 of Sookie? Do I give it a rest so my family can have me back for a few days until school starts, and my house can look like people live here that clean? Hhhmmmmmm....I think I will start the next Dark Hunter book. No one needs me here THAT bad. Giggle

Giggle I posted the link to the PC Cast House of Night novels a few days ago. I read them all. They are okay. Nothing like the Dark Hunter or Twilight series for me...but they are good.

I've read everything...all the outtakes...all the extras....

I'm going to get over it...I swear I will...I have too..

If anyone remember my obsession with N...this is like that...

First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

Chelle...I totally understand. I was like that at first for the first few months after I read it. I actually read midnight sun twice because it was HIS perspective. I even got jealous with all the people who were so in love with him. I mean jealous. Then the previews for the movie came out & I was O B S E S S E D. Big time.....I would sit at work & call my friend Kim & we would just sit & watch the previews over & over & over & over!

It took me forever to get over my obsession.

I remember how you were with N...believe me...this will hurt to but it does get better with time!

Yeah know I'm sure that there are other people who have had a literary depression before...you would think people would mention it and there would be medication available! lol

I started and returned the first book in the House of Night series, it just did not capture my attention. I started reading the Vampire Academy series, but that too is not capturing my attention. ::sigh:: I guess I am trying to find something to love like I did Twilight, but it will never happen. Giggle

On another note, I started and loved the first Dark Hunter book! I am about to start the 2nd one.

Danni- according to Misty book #2 isnt that great so I skipped over to #3 and OMG it is better than the 1st one!!!
Also, does it really matter that much if we read them in order??

I want to find a book to love again too, and I do love the Dark Hunter books, but most of them are on my computer. I need something I can carry with me to work. Back to half.com for me....I will buy some off there then I can drag them around with me throughout the day.

I need to know what Barrens is....and I need to know who Mac avoids being all messed up after what was happening to her at the end of the book. And why in the he!! didnt V'lane rescue her???!!!

If you go to Karen Monings website it shows that there are 2 more books in the FEVER series...DreamFever & ShadowFever. She says that she has them all "mapped & plotted out" she just has to transfer it to the books.

SO...I am sure we find out what he is & get some resolution with everything. She says on her website that Mac gets her Happily Ever After....soooooooooooo, it is going to get interesting!

**Spoiler alert** Don't read if you haven't read Faefever & intend on doing so...

I have a theory on why V'Lane didn't save her..

He states in the books that it is frowned upon by his people when they associate with mortals...but his people NEED Mac so it has been an exception...

Maybe they got tired of waiting & decided to take matters into their own hands to see where V'Lane's loyalty lies...I am guessing these guys are bigger & badder than him.

Who knows...maybe he did try & help but Mac couldn't see that...I don't know but I can't wait to find out!
