I was curious if anyone has either flooring in their home or knows someone with it. I would like to use a sustainable material for flooring, just not sure how they hold up.

I haven't seen either....so I'm not really sure...

First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

That is where I got the idea April. I checked briefly online and see the bamboo looks really nice. The cork, not so much.

It's all pricey, LOL
I just do not want to go with carpet again. With Sandra and the dog, it would be a waste of money. My dh wants to go with the carpet because it's cheaper, but it really isn't in the long run. I would just have to replace it again in a few years.

If we ever sell the house, it would be a nice improvement. Maybe someday...

There is a restaurant that we always go to and they have nice bamboo flooring. They put it in about a couple of years ago, I think it's a great improvement. I've never seen cork flooring so I can't compare the two but I think bamboo seems to to hold up plus it's a strong material to use.

We put in bamboo in our bedroom and we loved it. We want it for the whole house.Just make sure to put padding on furniture. We also added it to Ryan's room and the crib scratch it.

I thought it was supposed to be tougher than that. I guess I can put some things under any furniture that would be moved.

Thanks for the tip.
