Gas, electricity etc.
I thought it would be nice to have them all in one spot. If everyone tries to do even some of the small things it helps.
Please copy and paste so when we are done I can put them all in one post.

1. Drive slower

2. Turn off all lights not being used

3. Don't use the AC when driving unless you have to, that sucks up way more gas

4. better yet don't drive, walk, ride your bike, roller blade whenever possible! Get out and get active and save your gas $$

5. Get a programmable thermostat and the during the cold months use the setting on it to keep it turned down low during the day when you aren't at home and at night when you are already asleep.

6. Make sure your tires are properly inflated.

7. In the winter turn your heat down 2 degrees (C*) and in the summer let the a/c relax-leave it off completely when you are out

8. Water usage!!!
-don't let hot water run. Put little ones in to bathe or shower together.
-Jump in the shower with hubby, it is fun AND it saves on water.

9. Flick off whenever possible. Use natural light, and switch all your lights to energy saving bulbs.

10. Wash your clothes on cold and refrain from running your machines during peak hours.
