Ways to reduce waste, reuse or recycle items.

1. Use reusable shopping bags. Not the plastic grocery bags.

2. Use your cardboards and egg cartons for crafts for kids

3. Use empty soda bottles and milk jugs and turn them in to birdfeeders.

4. Turn old dish rags in to car washing rags and floor scrubbers,

5. Reuse old clothing that is too worn to donate as cleaning rags.

6. Stop using plastic wrap for sandwiches-it is time to start packing a litterless lunch!

7. Old crayons can be melted in baby food jars in boiling water to make new crayons-just pour melted crayons into plastic candy molds, pop them out when cooled!

8. Old linens can be quilted in to new ones, or used for kids tents and hideouts.
