funny you should post this. My sil was just telling me she used vinegar to get out sunscreen stains on some clothes and it worked great and that she had read somewhere that vinegar worked great on a lot of stains. I bought an extra bottle last week at the grocery store for that reason lol. I am going to try it in all my laundry though to see how it works.

Just be careful if anything has elastic in it (undies, etc) as it can wear it out much faster.

I'd be willing to give it a try. I hope I can remember to add it during the rinse cycle.

I have lots of laundry to do today so I am going to give this a shot. I was wondering about the rinse cycle thing because my washer is in the back of my house so I would never know what cycle it was on unless I stood back there the whole time lol.

I use it on my DH's pants when they have some small grease stains on them. Most of the time we take the greasy things to the laundry mat but if it just a little spot I put some in and poof its gone and does not stick to my washers insides.

That is how my aunt does her laundry. She did some of mine and it was great. I am going to start too. She just adds some to the second rinse cycle.

I'm not sure when the bleach goes in. I thought it went down there straight away. Someone should try it, LOL... I don't have any distilled vinegar on hand and can't leave the house today.

I was wondering about different places to put it to see if it comes out just in the rinse cycle. Like the little dispenser for fabric softener?

I have a front loader and I have a dispenser for detergent, bleach and fabric softener, so I put it in my softener one.

I had to run out and get me more vinegar today...this is the best laundry stuff I have used yet and it sooooo cheap.

I need to try boiling water and vinegar and putting socks in there to see if it works. Jayden's are always soooooo dirty and bleaching doesnt work.
