I am not sure what they are called but...
Have any of you tried those round things that help to move heavy furniture? I guess you put them under the legs and it is supposed to help move it along even over carpet.

my step mother swears by them the one or two times i've ever used them they worked pretty good, but she uses them all the time, she's always rearrnaging the house and she's quite small but she can move big things with them, the key is getting the heavy things onto the pads by herself lol

Oh yeah, I already thought of that dilemna, LOL
I'm trying to figure out the best way to move the furniture so I can finish painting. Sofa is easy enough, but not the fish tank (empty is too heavy for me to carry) and the curio cabinet.

When I first posted I had trouble looking them up because I couldn't think of what the heck they were called, LOL

I need to go to Lowes or Home Depot this week. I'll look to see if they have some.

We have them as well. We got ours at Lowes and they have been great for DH to move the curio, he was having a heck of a time trying to move it without them.

First of all, let me say that I do believe in true love. But I also deeply believe in the complexity, variety, and downright insanity of love. A lucky person loves hundreds of people in their lives, all in different ways, family love, friendship love, romantic love, all in so many shades and depths. I don't think you lose your ability--or right--to have true love by loving more than one person. In part, this is true because you never love two people the same way. Another part of it is that, if your lucky, you learn to love better with practice. The bottom line is that you have to choose who you are going to commit to-that's the foundation of true love, not a lack of other options. ~Stephenie Meyer

I have a husband who is willing, but it takes two men to move some of this furniture. LOL

Besides, I may want to rearrange things and it makes him crazy. "Put it there... no, maybe over there..no, how bout there?" LOL

It was easy to move the glass dragon enclosure with them. I picked up more because I need to move a fish tank and stand. If it works, then that means I have to paint, LOL
