so almost as soon as zeke turned 2 months old I noticed he was drooling alot. I rubbed his gums and found a little tooth starting to come in. not only do I find it strange that it's so early, but it's his top left canine, not one of the bottom front ones. does this happen often??

I have heard of kids getting their canines first...people say it looks like cute little vampire fangs until the others come in, but I've never seen it myself. As for getting them at 2 months...thats definitely early but not out of the question. I remember when pregnant with my first reading that some babies are born with teeth already cut...can you imagine giving birth to a baby with teeth....now thats crazy!

It could also be a calcium deposit. When my nephew was about the same age my SIL thought he was getting a tooth and then it was gone. He was drooling and everything as well, the dr said it was most likely a calcium deposit.
