Unfortunately the whole Lipil thing did not last. She started getting an upset tummy from it after about three days on only the Lipil. She seemed to do fine if we mixed it though. I dont think it is a lactose issue, I think it is a protein sensitivity. The Alimentum she is on is for infants with a protein sensitivity and that is the only one that works great for her. So now we are trying Goodstart with comfort proteins to see if that will be ok. We are mixing it and so far so good. But I think that rather than just going a few days with the mixing we will go a few weeks to give her more time to get used to it.
Otherwise she is doing good. Last weigh in she was 14.2lb and she has 2 teeth on the bottom. She does fine with rice cereal and pears and veggies, but apples seem to bother her belly. She loves a sippy cup because it has handles and makes her feel big. She loves trying anything new and is sooooooo bossy!! She loves being in her bumbo chair on the counter while I am cooking and cleaning because she is up high to supervise everything.
She still sleeps through the night but cut it down to about 9 hours instead of 12 because she gets hungry. Which would be great but like a dummy I dont go to bed with her so I end up with about 4 hours! lol
How is everyone else doing? And what are all the babies going to be for Halloween? I will post a pic of her in her costume as soon as I get time to try it on her. Cant wait to see all your pics!
