Have an upper GI scan on Wednesday. The meds for acid refulx are not helping and now that he is still spitting up solid food they want to check for any obstruction or inflamation.
So we have to feed him at 1:45 am and then hold him off until 8 am or so when the DR is ready to watch him feed. Then he gets some blood drawn and then someother test.
So its not looking like Wednesday is going to be a fun day at all.
What aboiut a milk protien allergy? They mimic reflux. Hopefully they can figure it out. the 7 month old I have is allergic to almost everything they have tried food wise. green beans carrots etc. He can have peas and 1 other one cant think what it is. Otherwise he has massive vomitting and the runs and rashes etc. And they say hes too little for testing.

He is on a lactose free formula. He spits up with peas but even just plain rice cereal will come up. Its not so much the food its the fact that once his body aborbs the food there is this clear liquid "acid" that he spits up and cries when he does.
My son had acid reflux until he was almost 2, we did the Upper and lower GI and he was on medicine for a long time and we had to slant his crib mattress as well. Try to feed small bites and wait in between. My son eventually grew out of it but I know it is taxing some days.
