I have been a Member of BOL for a LONG TIME now. This has always bothered me, so I figured I would ask. When I mail out the e-mail stating that I updated my baby's page to my Friends & Family, the link to my page ALWAYS gets split into 2 lines. The box for writing that message is so skinny that I don't know how this isn;t happening to everyone. Worse yet...when it splits the link, the first half actually belongs to another baby. Then I get e-mails from my Friends and Family asking me who this red headed baby is! Is there an easy solution to this? My URL is not THAT long!

That's a problem with the email program they use to receive email - it shouldn't be chopping urls in half like that - we don't send them chopped in half. And regarding the second problem about a red headed boy - I don't understand your question.

I just added my name to your F&F list and sent myself an email. The email was perfect: the url was not chopped off and the web page address was yours and only yours. I am sending you a copy of it so you can see for yourself. If you have a copy of an email that has someone else's url in it, please forward it to me.

What I mean about the red haired boy is this...

my son's page is this:
http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/j/joey530/

When the e-mail splits the link it looks like this:
http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/j/joey/

the "530" part ends up on another line. The link without the "530" actually belongs to another little boy (and I have noticed now that his hair has gotten more blonde and not red with age) LOL! Perhaps it is my family's e-mail causing the problem. The link gets split when I send it to myself too.

Again, we send the url as one unbroken line, it's the email program you are using to read the email that is breaking it at the end (or after the "joey"). You'll need to tweak your settings to stop wrapping the text after so many characters. If you're not sure how to do that, please contact your ISP - they should be able to walk you through it.

Per my last post, I logged in to your account and sent myself a notice and it worked perfectly, so it's not our system that is wrapping the url and breaking it apart.
