I don't know why but everytime I am on BOL message boards my computer always does that Not Responding thing and closes and I have to start it back up and like 10 min later it does it again and again! When I first get onto BOL, it says that my computer does not accept its cookies, but I already set my computer to accept all cookies, I am asking you if you think you know what it might be because BOL is the only site it does this on!!! Can you help????

Do you have an older computer? I ask this because way back when I had a dinosaur for a computer it used to boot me off another message board constantly. I have no idea why, the new computer fixed that problem. Hopefully someone wil know.

No its not old, we only bought it this year. It is a real good computer, it is only BOL that I have this prob.

I'm not really sure....let me move this to Shannon's area and see if she can tell you why it does that...she more technical than I am lol

Actually the Babies Online web site and the Message Boards are two different animals - so if you're experiencing difficulties on both, you're having problems with more than one web site.

It sounds to me that your browser is having problems with certain scripts. Or it could be that you have security software that is affecting you, I really don't know. Since I'm not receiving thousands of complaints I can pretty safely assume it's not a problem with the site itself.

My best suggestion is to contact your ISP and ask them to help you tweak your settings or update your browser.

i have had that problem. it sounds to me like you need to go into your internet options and lower the security. to do that up at the top of the window click on tools, then click on internet options. then click on the tab that says security. then at the bottom click on custom level. it will say reset to, and have either medium, low or high. click medium, then if that dont work click low. you might also want to click the tab that says privacy which should be right next to security. privacy is what keeps track of which cookies to accept and which not to. you may have to set that to low also. or, also in privacy, at the bottom it will say websites, and in that dialog box it will say edite. click on that and enter the web pages that you want to accept cookies from. hopefully you have the same internet explorer as i do and this will work. if this doesnt work then i have no clue what to do. HOPE THIS HELPS

I am having problems too. When I click on New to start a new topic it comes up with a blank page. I cannot write anything. When I try to post a reply, it comes up with a blank page and will not allow to write anything. What the heck am I doing wrong?? It's been like this for 3 weeks now and I can only post quick replys and I feel like I cannot participate properly in BOL. I am not very computer literate either so that doesn't help.

That is a message board problem, not a Babies Online issue. If you post that in the proper forum one of the mods will be able to assist you.
