I just started a webpage my baby. People have signed the guestbook and hit submit but then the message disappears and it says that you will be the 1st to sign. I don't know what's wrong. Please help!

I'm sorry you are experiencing difficulties with your guestbook.

We were experiencing difficulties with people "spamming" their guestbook entries (i.e. posting the same message 50 times). Because of this we had to put a cap on signing. What this means is that each person may only sign the guestbook once every 24 hours. So if they click the submit button prematurely, they will not be able to go back and submit a new entry until the next day.

Additionally, if someone signed your guestbook but it is not appearing on your baby's web page, please log in to your Member Account at http://www.babiesonline.com/members and go to the guestbook administration section. If you see the entry there, you will need to refresh your browser in order to see it on your baby's web page. If clicking the refresh button does not do this for you, you will need to clear your browser's history and cache to see the "new" guestbook. (Use your browser's help function to search for the term "cache" for instructions on how to do this.)

If all else fails, please ask them to sign your guestbook again tomorrow. If their entry still does not post, please request that they edit their browser's preferences to accept cookies (they can search the help function for "cookies" for step-by-step instructions on how to do this.) If they do not accept our cookie they will not be able to sign your guestbook.
