Hello, I was wondering if the person who is in charge of Babiesonline could help me. My oldest son has passed on and I have made a memorial site for him Http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/m/mikey42303/ Some mean people have been spamming his guestbook leaving all kinds of advertisement on his site. This has happened before and a friend of mine wrote to you and you took care of it for me but somehow they are doing it again. Could you maybe block the IP Address from doing this to his guestbook. Its very upsetting to go to his page and see all these spammers on there. I dont want to put a password on it because I have had many people tell me how much his site has helped them with there loss and I want anyone to be able to meet him and sign his guestbook, just sick of the spamming. I have it all hiden so noone else can see them but I have the IP Address if you need it and cant get on his guestbook to see it for yourself. Your help would be greatly appreicated by myself and my son whom is in Heaven!!
Hi Amanda, it is Adrienne (astyles ~ Justin and Ryan's mom) from SHARE. The only solution that I have seen for this is to password protect Mikey's site. I'm so sorry that people are spamming his beautiful site. Hopefully Shannon will be able to do something for you, I know it would make me sick to have to see that on his webpage. Some people are just horrible for doing that kind of stuff.
The only other SHARE Mommy's that are here that I know of are ~Michelle~ and MissCArolyn who is Anthony's Mommy on SHARE. Someone here also referred alamom to SHARE. I hope she can ban the IP address.
Yeah I know alot of the SHARE ladies have their angels and rainbow babies pages here, but they probably don't realize that there are message boards. It took me awhile to find them and join.
I removed the post and banned the text and IP address. This looks like the same type of advertisement as last time - some scumbag must be picking your SHARE sites up via a spider somehow - how I don't know since your site requires membership. You might want to tell your sysop to see if she can figure anything out.
But the guestbook issue is fixed on your BOL web page. Thanks for letting me know about the problem.
