I was thinking the same thing Heather! I was so mad at Days I didnt even watch more than 5 minutes at lunch because of the whole baby switch thing! I am hoping though that their might be a twist and the baby will be Lucas's lol

honestly i don't think it is lucas' because he was in jail when sami was with ej (the night he walked in on them was when she conceived) and she didn't sleep with lucas after that cuz he couldn't stand to be around her. so IMO the baby is definitely ejs.

just ticks me off cuz they have done the DNA switch and baby switch too many times - i thought they were actually going to have nicole keep mia's baby this time and not go down the same road.

I just hope that Stephano will find out about all of this and Nicole will feel the wrath of him. I wonder how long it will take for someone to figure out the whole "baby switch" I am trying to figure out how many times this storyline has been done or something similar. There was Zach and (Glens little boy) I cant remember his name, the whole drama with Philip, Belle, Shawn and Mimi, Sami lying about Will, Sami lying about Belle when she was little, needless to say they need a new story!

Remember there was also a switch with Hope and Bo, Zack.

UGH i'm getting so fed up with Days. Now they are letting more actors go...

Soap Opera Fan Blog has learned that there are two more vets set to leave the cast of Days of Our Lives. Mary Beth Evans (Dr. Kayla Johnson) and Stephen Nichols (Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson), who have been portraying the supercouple for more than a generation, have been let go.

The news arrives after the recent, much publicized, departures of fellow supercouple John and Marlena (Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall) and in the wake of news that Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera) will also be leaving. Further news on what this departure could mean for the show has yet to be released.

I dont think there is much of a lifespan left for Days. I will be surprised if it is still on a year from now.

yea their contract is for like another 16 months...after that who knows if they'll renew it.

i think the next power couple to be cut would be bo and hope - i sure hope not! but they are adding a couple younger actors to the show now...mia has signed a contract and is staying on, the girl who played fancy crane on passions is rumored to be coming to days. I don't care about the new comers...i want the vets back!

Another newbee...this is not the same Will that left to live with Carrie and Austin...he's a recast.

Days of Our Lives loses another actor.

The latest cast member to depart the show will be Rachel Melvin (Chelsea Brady). She joined the cast in 2005 as the troubled teen and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year. Since then, her character’s plots have been increasingly thin. With her contract coming up for renewal soon, she opted out. It’s been reported that the show is leaving the door open for her return.

Awww, that is too bad. I have grown to like her character.

I cannot believe what they are doing to Bo and Hope now with the whole separation. That is just wrong!

Let's see...Sami just came back from witness protection program...gave birth to a baby girl. Nicole lost her baby but continued to pretend she was pregnant. She found a teenager (Mia) who was pregnant and convinced her to give her the baby. Long story, Mia gave birth at the same hospital, on the same day, with the same crooked doctor as Sami. Nicole convinced the doctor to switch the babys and now has Sami's baby. Sami left her baby (Grace) at the convent where she was hiding to get her at a later date when she can figure out how to bring her home without EJ or Stefano finding out she was pregnant.

Sami fell for the guy who was protecting her (Rafe) and EJ is really jealous. Nicole is scheming and trying to keep everyone from finding out the truth, and to keep Sami away from EJ. She can see they still have feelings for each other.

Chloe had an affair with Daniel while engaged to Lucas. She broke off the engagement. Lucas got drunk and then found out about the affair. He showed up at Daniel's apt to confront Daniel and was hurt in a gas explosion. He does not remember about Chloe's affair. Kate saw Daniel and Chloe kiss and is planning revenge on Chloe.

Phillip is on-again-off again with Stephanie and keeps flirting with Melanie to try to get the new fuel research from her for Titan. Nick gave it to her as a way to say he was sorry.

Bo is having weird premonitions and saw a vision of Hope in bed with another man, they dont show who. They are having problems now cuz of it.

Max and Chelsea are together now...but I am sure not for long since the actress is leaving the show.

Will showed back up from Europe (a different actor now.) Looks like Mia's character is staying...supposedly she moved away but she keeps contacting Nicole about the baby.

Stefano and Victor are both after Kate again.

I can't think of much else. I think it is finally getting good again.

I am SO upset! Instead of having Tony and Anna go off together, they are KILLING TONY! Urgh. I cannot stand the way the show is going. I doubt it will go past 2010 when the contract is up.

I know, I feel the same way. I will miss Tony. Did you catch that awful product placement yesterday for Tyson chicken? They must be getting really desperate.

After all these years I just found out John Aniston (Victor Kiriakis) is Jennifer Aniston (Friends) father!? Wow!

Still so bummed about the direction Days is going...its going downhill fast. I don't care about young people and newbies coming in to the show, I want the vets! The vets are what made the show and they're all dropping one by one. I've been watching Days since I was a baby with my grandma. I feel like i've grown up with all the actors. Its such a shame. I like the old plots with Hope/Gina, the Dimeras getting revenge on everyone in town, love triangles, kidnapping. The baby switching has happened WAY too many times and I'm over that one.

I agree Heather. It is sad. I wish the writers would get their head out of their ***!

I hope Philip is going to be ok. I knew Nicole would be stupid enough to go though with the marriage of EJ. Now she dug her grave and now she has to wait to sleep in it. She is an IDIOT!!!
