LOL I find it hard to believe she gives him a $5 allowance she may have used to before they got into fame when they were hurting financially but now you see him with lots of stuff, the media is going to print whatever to make them sell copies and it's sick

IMO they just need to stop doing the show. Now there's talk of non-adherance to child labor laws and all of that. Those poor kids look miserable and it's tearing them apart. They need to put their children and their marriage first.

Danni I agree. Kate will say until she turns blue that the kids don't know there's anything going on...

they are 5... they are not 2 anymore. I'm sure they know *something* is wrong but they can't figure out what it is. My kids can tell when I'm upset with their dad even if they haven't heard us argue... they can tell just by my body language, I guess.

My point is.. these kids have an idea... they realize dad's not around as much as he used to be and they are going on vacations without him. I'm sure they see the sadness, frustration, anger, etc in their parents...

It's time to focus on them. Screw any contracts...

I love Jon and Kate plus 8. I like that they do not suger coat anything. I will also agree that Kate is a pain but the shows ratings are great. I also love the kids. Expecially Hannah she is my favorite.

I seen a commercial for next monday and a big announcement so i will say that they are probably going to announce their divorce or something like it. I will be watching just because i am nosy like that.

Yes I think the big announcement is they are getting a divorce. They have been seperated for 6 months now. Also did anyone see where Kate was spanking Leah so hard she was scared of her own mom. There were neighbors that saw Kate do it too. Plus cops were there as well.

I feel for the kids. I can't imagine that he is going to have to pay child support, he would never be able to live!

I was not expecting them to say they were spliting, I am so sad, I was crying. Maybe its the pregnancy hormones but that was awful. Divorce is so hard I can not imagine how they all must feel!

I was crying too. It brought back a lot of memories from when I went through my divorce. I was watching them and remembering how painful all those emotions are even in the worst of circumstances.

DH and I caught the second half. Extremely sad not only for them but for the kids as well. They seem to have things squared away as far as the kids and what not. I hope they did all they can to work things out before coming to this decision.

I kinda figured that divorce was what was goin to happen. As much as i enjoyed the show i wish they would end it. They need to have have no cameras around and the paparazzi needs to back off for the kids sake. I am very sad for them, it must be hard for them to understand.

I was trying not to cry too. It was very sad to watch. I felt so sorry for Kate. She looked so sad. I did not feel a bit sorry for Jon though. I really think he was the one who wanted this to happen.

It was a very sad show to watch last night. When they said that they was separating I was like ok... There is still hope things can be worked out... but at the very end when they said that proceedings had started I was like oh no..

That's the part that got me too, when they put that info up about the legal proceedings being started. I don't agree with certain choices that have been made, but it's still sad. I feel for the BOTH of them, but especially the kids.

I cried too, it made me feel awful for them, all of them.

I think throughout the show and episodes, Kate had to act the way she did for the camera. Even in a reality show, I think they have to follow a certain script.
Yeah, she seemed bossy, but Jon seemed like a total moron.

It got to me when Kate said" I don't want to do this alone". For the 1st time last night I could see her true emotions and believed every word she said.

I am not sure if it's true or not that Jon cheated on her, as told by the lovely media, but if it's true then she is better off without him.

I hope they can be friends for the kids sake.
