Was/is it on your other children when you brought the new baby home and started nursing? I am a little worried... I really wanna nurse baby Vince too but am worried that I wont be able to with chasing Troy around!

I didn't find it hard at all. I did tandem nurse both Ryan and Sean though so it made it much easier, Ryan has no cause to be jealous. There were a few times when Ryan would try to act up when I was nursing Sean but I would just put Sean down, deal with Ryan then go back to nursing. Ryan quickly learned that me nursing Sean did not give him a pass to act up. lol

My kids all have about a 2 1/2 year age difference between them, so my experience may not be the same. I didn't have a problem at all. The older girls all knew that was how the baby eats, so they didn't have trouble with it. of course there were times they wanted "mama time" too, so I'd nurse and have them come up next to me on the couch and read them a story, watch something on tv with them, or just have a conversation with them. It was really never an issue.

I think Ainsley is starting to understand that Amelia is eating, but she still gets jealous sometimes. It's probably awful, but sometimes when I know she may try to stop us and DH isn't home, I sit her down at her table with a snack or something while I feel Amelia and it works like a charm.

Thats a good idea and I think it would work because Troy loves to eat!!!
