This is my second time around with nursing - you'd think I'd have this figured out by now!! LOL

Things are going good - he's eating like a pro and I love that I am able to breastfeed him again.

I've also been pumping too - to get a stash started for when I go back to work and pump during the day. I've already got well over 100oz frozen, so I think I'm doing good!!

But, I am still leaking. When I nurse on one side, my other side leaks. Sometimes, just for no reason I get the letdown feeling and they both leak... So, I am still wearing breast pads. I also bought some LilyPadz at the hospital and wear those too when I am going out in public...

Most of the disposable pads you can see in your shirt - LOVELY... so that's why I like the LilyPadz, because you really can't see them... But, I have a problem with what do I DO with them while I'm nursing? It's kind of hard to leave them in your bra, because they're sticky... so, what - take it off and stick it to the wall while you're feeding? LOL

I'm still pretty self-conscious about nursing in public but that's nothing new. LOL He's also a VERY noisy eater - so it's kind of embarrasing to nurse him where it's quiet - he slurps, sucks, grunts, groans, etc... It's funny! Kes was never that noisy!!

So, we're getting through it and are on our way. Hoping to make it to at least a year like I did with Kessler. I'm not looking forward to pumping at work, but glad that I have the opportunity to do it easily and comfortably!

Faith, when was he born again, I forget.
Thats great that he is doing well on the breast and that you have so much stored up it will really come in handy while you are at work and if your milk supply drops when you go back to work, at least you have that there to supplement with ya know! Well, keep up the good work!

I had to have a burp rag on my other breast when I nursed for the first 4 months with Jonathan or I would soak through a breast pad, bra and shirt. I would also get a random let down during that time as well, especially once I went back to work, at 12 weeks. So to me all of your troubles sound totally normal.

Wow you have saved up a bunch of milk in 5 weeks time. But we both know how quickly you can go through a supply once you have to dip into it.

I'm still leaking a lot too. It sucks, but what can you do! LOL I'm just hoping I don't leak through my shirts when I go back to work!

I still do too. Some mornings I wake up and my breastpad has moved and my shirt and bra are completely soaked. Oh, the joys of breastfeeding Giggle
